About
Meleys, nicknamed 'the Red Queen' has been described as splendid andd magnificent due to her red, pink, and
copper colourings. She was also the swiftest, fastest of the dragons, able to outfly Caraxes and Vhagar
who were larger than her.
Feats
Known for her impressive speed, Meleys was a fearsome dragon. Meleys did not participate in any battled with
Princess Alyssa as her rider. With Princess Rhaenys as her rider, she rode during the Dance of the Dragons.
Participating in the battle at Rook's Rest, Ser Criston Cole's forces attacked her with iron bolts and
scorpions which did not harm her, only irritated the dragon. Meleys had killed over 800 men. But Vhagar and
Sunfyre surprise attacked her from above. Despite knowing she could not defeat two dragons, she continued
to fight till the end. Vhagar and her rider Aemond were unharmed, but Meleys and Rhaenys were able to
injure Sunfyre and his rider Aegon. Meleys had torn off half of one of Sunfyre's wings and Aegon was left
half burned with broken ribs. Unfortunately, Rhaenys and Meleys both died in that battle.
Death
Died with her rider at the battle at Rook's Rest. Meleys was torn to shreds as she hit the ground,
her rider burned beyond recognition.
